I think it's cute too! Do you have red squirrels where you live or did you have to use a picture? I live near Cambridge, so sadly we don't get red squirrels, but greys are cute too. It's the black ones you want to watch, they're aggressive little blighters.
It looks a little heavy for a red, but I can't really comment on that in a helpful way until I know how you drew it.
